University of Kentucky, Southeast University and Nanjing University of Science
and Technology. Active hydroxide radical produced by oxidizing agent is used to
oxidize NO. The alkali liquor performs desulfurization
and denitrification simultaneously in a single duel-cycling absorption
tower. Meanwhile, a no-leakage separate gas-gas heat exchanger is used to keep
the temperature of clean fuel gas higher than dew-point temperature and
eliminate white smoke. The desulfurization and denitrification efficiencies of
this technology are higher than 99% and 85% respectively. Compared to the
conventional "SCR denitrification + WFGD desulfurization" combination
process, the construction cost and operation cost of this technology are 28%
and 19% lower, which realizes low-cost and high-efficiency desulfurization and
denitrification of fuel gas in coal-fired boilers.
